Cloud storage providers protect your data from cyber-attacks by encrypting your data while it is stored on their drives and maintaining it that way during transport to the desktop or mobile devices. Which way to go?
When it comes to ease of setup and convenience, cloud storage has more advantages since you have to maintain and monitor a VPN. Depending on your storage needs over time, it may make sense to build and deploy your own servers, however.

As a small business owner, your concern is protecting your data but enabling your growing mobile workforce to access information they need when they need it. As you consider your options between the cloud and a VPN decide what works for your company now and what provides the best path as you grow. I’ll look at some hybrid options in future posts.

Crushing plant
A Crushing plant is one-stop crushing installation, which can be used for rock crushing, garbage crushing, building materials crushing and other similar operations. Crushing plants may be either fixed or mobile. A crushing plant has different stations (primary, secondary, tertiary, ...) where different crushing, selection and transport cycles are done in order to obtain different stone sizes or the required graulometry

  • Crushing plants make use of a large range of equipment, such as a pre-screener, loading conveyor, intake hopper, magnetic separator, crushing unit, such as jaw crushers and cone crusher etc.
  • Vibration Feeder: These machines feed the jaw and impact crusher with the rocks and stones to be crushed.
  • Crushers: These are the machines where the rocks and stones are crushed. There are different types of crushers for different types of rocks and stones and different sizes of the input and output material. Each plant would incorporate one or several crushing machines depending on the required final material (small stones or sand).
  • Vibrating Screen: These machines are used to separate the different sizes of the material obtained by the crushers.
  • Belt Conveyor: These elements are the belts used for transportation of the material from one machine to another during different phases of process.
  • Central electric Control system: Control and monitor the operation of the entire system.
Process of crushing plant
  • Raw materials are evenly and gradually conveyed into jaw stone crushing equipment for primary crushing via the hopper of vibrating feeder.
  • The crushed stone materials are conveyed to crushing plant by belt conveyor for secondary crushing before they are sent to vibrating screen to be separated.
  • After separating, qualified materials will be taken away as final products, while unqualified materials will be carried back to the stone crushing equipment for recrushing. And customers can classify final products according to different size ranges. All the final products are up to the related standards within and beyond China. DNA nanotechnology 

DNA nanotechnology exploits the programmable specificity afforded by base-pairing to produce self-assembling macromolecular objects of custom shape. For building megadalton-scale DNA nanostructures, a long ‘scaffold’ strand can be employed to template the assembly of hundreds of oligonucleotide ‘staple’ strands into a planar antiparallel array of cross-linked helices. We recently adapted this ‘scaffolded DNA origami’ method to producing 3D shapes formed as pleated layers of double helices constrained to a honeycomb lattice. However, completing the required design steps can be cumbersome and time-consuming. Here we present caDNAno, an open-source software package with a graphical user interface that aids in the design of DNA sequences for folding 3D honeycomb-pleated shapes A series of rectangular-block motifs were designed, assembled, and analyzed to identify a well-behaved motif that could serve as a building block for future studies. The use of caDNAno significantly reduces the effort required to design 3D DNA-origami structures. The software is available at, along with example designs and video tutorials demonstrating their construction. The source code is released under the MIT license.
In 1982, Nadrian Seeman laid the theoretical framework for the use of DNA as a nanoscale building material (1,2). Subsequently, DNA has been used in the construction of increasingly complex shapes and lattices (3–8). In 2006, Paul Rothemund introduced DNA origami, a versatile method for constructing arbitrary 2D shapes and patterns with dimensions of 100 nm in diameter and 6 nm spatial resolution (9). The method uses hundreds of short oligonucleotide ‘staple’ strands to direct the folding of a long, single ‘scaffold’ strand of DNA into a programmed arrangement.

Since its introduction, DNA origami has been used for applications such as label-free RNA-hybridization probes (10), seeds for algorithmic assembly (11,12), and liquid-crystalline alignment media for NMR structure determination of membrane proteins (13). Toward increasing the size of DNA-origami design space, we recently extended DNA origami to construction of 3D shapes (14). While implementing DNA-origami shapes, we found it useful to develop computer-aided design (CAD) software to minimize tedious and error-prone tasks; similar efforts have been reported previously for oligonucleotide-based DNA nanostructures (15) or for planar DNA origami similar to Rothemund's original designs (16).

Here we describe our open-source software package, caDNAno, for use in the design of 3D DNA-origami shapes constrained to a honeycomb framework (14). We have used caDNAno to generate seven DNA-origami designs of 3D rectangular blocks of varying cross-section dimensions. Analysis of the folded blocks by agarose-gel electrophoresis and negative-stain transmission electron microscopy revealed that a block design specifying six-helices-per-x-raster row yields the greatest fraction of defect-free objects.

Electronic Circuits
You may have heard the term chip, especially when the subject of computer hardware comes up. A chip is a tiny piece of silicon, usually around one centimeter square. A chip may be a single transistor (a piece of silicon that amplifies electrical signals or serves as an on/off switch in computer applications). It can also be an integrated circuit composed of many interconnected transistors. Chips are encapsulated in a hermetically sealed plastic or ceramic enclosure called a package. Sometimes people refer to the whole package as a chip, but the chip is actually inside the package.

There are two basic types of integrated circuit -- monolithic and hybrid. Monolithic ICs include the entire circuit on a single silicon chip. They can range in complexity from just a few transistors to millions of transistors on a computer microprocessor chip. A hybrid IC has a circuit with several chips enclosed in a single package. The chips in a hybrid IC may be a combination of transistors, resistors, capacitors and monolithic IC chips.

A printed circuit board, or PCB, holds an electronic circuit together. The completed PCB with components attached is a printed circuit board assembly, or PCBA. A multilayer PCB may have as many as 10 stacked PCBs. Electroplated copper conductors passing through holes called vias connect the individual PCBs, which forms a three-dimensional electronic circuit.

The most important elements in an electronic circuit are the transistors. Diodes are tiny chips of silicon that act as valves to allow current flow in only one direction. Other electronic components are passive elements like resistors and capacitors. Resistors offer a specified amount of resistance to current, and capacitors store electric charge. The third basic passive circuit element is the inductor, which stores energy in the form of a magnetic field. Microelectronic circuits very rarely use inductors, but they are common in larger power circuits.
Most circuits are designed using computer-aided design programs, or CAD. Many of the circuits used in digital computers are extremely complex and use millions of transistors, so CADs are the only practical way to design them. The circuit designer starts with a general specification for the functioning of the circuit, and the CAD program lays out the complex pattern of interconnections.

The etching of the metal interconnection pattern on a PCB or IC chip uses an etch-resistant masking layer to define the circuit pattern. The exposed metal is etched away, leaving the pattern of connecting metal between components.

Why is AC used in electronic circuits?
In electronic circuits, the distances and currents are very small, so why use AC? First of all, the currents and voltages in these circuits represent constantly changing phenomena, so the electrical representations, or analogs, are also constantly changing. The second reason is that radio waves (like those used by TVs, microwaves and cell phones) are high-frequency AC signals. The frequencies used for all types of wireless communication has steady advanced over the years, from the kilohertz (kHz) range in the early days of radio to the megahertz (MHz) and gigahertz (GHz) range today.

Electronic circuits use DC to provide power for the transistors and other components in electronic systems. A rectifier circuit converts AC power to DC from the AC line voltage.

Take advantage of location-based marketing - In 2017, look for more brands to use location-based marketing to engage consumers. “Mobile devices travel with the consumer and generate a lot of contextual data, much of which has been untapped,” Asay says. “All of this can be leveraged to augment everyday experiences, changing not only how consumers interact with the world around them but also how brands engage.”Location-based technologies, such as in-store beacons, “can be the most transformative aspect of a brand’s mobile strategy,” Asay believes. “Once consumers have agreed to that relationship, it opens up big possibilities. Take retail, for instance. Brands with a heavy physical presence are struggling to keep up with ecommerce in part because the physical shopping experience hasn’t changed much over the years. Location technology can enable everything from one-click ordering of out-of-stock items to shoppers engaging with digitized parts of the store through their smartphones. Additionally, location data can boost how brands personalize experiences. For example, knowing that a particular promotion induced customers to visit a physical store is highly valuable information for a marketer.”

Understand your mobile customers - Mobile marketing is going to become even more personal in the year ahead. “This is the year when cross-device identity resolution, and really cross-channel identity resolution, becomes attainable for most digital marketers,” says Austin Miller, product marketing manager for Oracle Marketing Cloud.

“Knowing who your customers are beyond their device identifiers or channel identifiers has been at the top of the priority list for most digital marketers,” Miller continues. “That’s because identity resolution is the only real way to speak to each customer as an individual, regardless of the medium. Conversations with customers will be influenced by the context of all previous conversations. In short, identity resolution will allow marketers to come as close to the 'holistic customer profile’ as possible.”

Until recently, identity resolution was “very difficult to do while preserving customer privacy,” Miller explains. “It required tremendous investment in data science and even then, privacy concerns existed.”

New technologies allow marketers to “easily anonymize and match first- and third-party data in a safe environment,” instead of having a “massive amount” of data that’s siloed, Miller says. As a result, “marketers will start to realize the value of all their currently unstructured mobile data in terms of how it can be used in other channels (besides mobile). This realization will transform the way we think about mobile marketing. It will no longer be looked at as another channel, as much as a firehose of valuable data that marketing departments can leverage in all their activities.”Source""
